His work has won three Emmys and the Sundance Film Festival Filmmakers Trophy. During his career he has created more than 200 hours of reality based prime time television specials and documentaries for CBS, ABC, TNT, PBS, Showtime, Disney, Department of Defense, Army, Navy and the White House. His recent work with Colin Powell, Halle Berry, and Morgan Freeman, For Love of Liberty: The Story of America’s Black Patriots, was awarded the 2011 NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Documentary Achievement.[/paragraph_right][/row]
[row][third_paragraph] [/third_paragraph][paragraph_right] Dean Milverton has lived and worked in Honduras for the past 12 years, with a background in tourism destination marketing, project management and product creation. Dean’s has a wealth of local knowledge which has come from year’s of traveling throughout the region working with leading businesses, tour operators and tourism service providers. Dean also produced Adventures on Roatan, a 90 minute tour of Roatan and the Honduras mainland and has been involved in commerical video production and video presentations for Roatan businesses.[/paragraph_right][/row]
[row][third_paragraph] [/third_paragraph][paragraph_right] Damian Scalfaro was born in Argentina and has worked in lightning for shows, TV and theatre for over five years. During his travels among the American continent, he gained experience in multimedia production, especially filming, video editing and animation.
Damian has started his work independently on Roatán with graphic and web design, as well as producing audiovisual commercials for various businesses on the island.
Since 2013, Damian is a team member of the Roatán Travel Network, performing footage, nonlinear editing and 2D/3D digital animations. In the last year, he produced a 20 minute documentary “The Caribbean Cup Roatan Freediving Competition” together with Frank Martin, which is about the discipline of apnoe diving and its championship being held in the Caribbean. [row][third_paragraph] [/third_paragraph][paragraph_right]Clemie was born and raised in French Harbor, Roatan. She attended school and college in La Ruben Barahona in French Harbor for 9 years, during this time she studied with a government scholarship (BECA) for 6 years. On completion of college Clemie attended the Institute Tecnico in Brick Bay for 3 years, where she completed a Computer Studies Course. Currently Clemie continues her studies at the University in Roatan, UTH (Universidad Tecnologica de Honduras) where she is studying Business Management.
Since the beginning of the Roatan Travel Network, Clemie has been part of the team as an Executive Producer who plays different roles from the start to finish of each project to guarantee it’s success. [/paragraph_right][/row]
[row][third_paragraph] [/third_paragraph][paragraph_right]The newest addition to the Roatan Travel Network, Ana joined the team in 2014 and became involved in the areas of production, photography and general post production.
After graduating from Cinema Studies in Costa Rica, she worked on more than a dozen feature length feature films and documentaries in the Central American region as a freelance professional. She became involved in the advertising industry working for brands such as Red Bull, McDonalds, Sony, Claro to mention a few. She directed several video clips, fiction films, institutional and comercial proyects as well as working on personal documentary films on Guatemala before deciding to move to Roatan and join the RTN team.[/paragraph_right][/row]
